South-West Road, Ekondo Titi to Kumba
Cameroon
Challenge
Execution of the Kumba–Ekondo Titi road in Cameroon, a strategic corridor linking the South-West region to the Littoral and Nigeria. Built with RoadVision’s advanced technologies, this project overcame extreme rainfall conditions (over 8,000 mm annually) to deliver durable, all-weather infrastructure that improves regional integration and accessibility.
How we responded
Mise en œuvre
RoadVision developed ultra-heavy-duty road infrastructure on the Kumba–Ekondo Titi axis, overcoming one of Africa’s most challenging climates. Works were completed 50% ahead of schedule, enabling isolated communities to access markets, healthcare, and education before the rainy season. The road was reinforced using proprietary geocell technologies and natural retaining structures, ensuring slope stability, erosion control, and long-term durability.

- Reliable access between South-West, Littoral, and Nigeria, even in heavy rain
- Strong support for local trade and agricultural markets
- Extended lifespan of 25 years with reduced maintenance needs
